Remain Healthy

We all need to look after ourselves and remain as healthy as we can, but in these uncertain and worrying times it's even more important that we look after our health and well being.  I've been running a series of 30 minute exercise videos on facebook live, and we'd like to share them with you.  

Low impact

The first 2 videos we are sharing are full body workouts, where all you need is you (!) and some water.  All the movements are low impact (no jumping) and can be done in a minimumal space, so your living room is fine!

Warm Up

We will start with a warm up to warm the joints and get the blood flowing through the body, followed by a few simple stretches.  We will then do a dozen or so exercises with a short rest period after each one while I demonstrate the next exercise.  These workouts are suitable for all levels and abilities - there are options to increase or decrease the intensity of each one, and always the option to take a breather at any time.  

Feel good

The most important thing is to go with the flow of the music, enjoy moving your body and enjoy the 'hit' of those feel good hormones: endorphin, dopamine and serotonin - they're the ones that make you smile and feel good!

5) Keep moving

It’s important to do our daily exercise, whether it’s walking, jogging, cycling, or even gardening. Also try to keep moving throughout the day at intervals.
